Shooting 3: Senior Year has been a somewhat bittersweet experience for Vanessa Hudgens.While she feels that everybody is ”stepping it up a notch” for HSM3, Hudgens is saddened that it’s going be the last time she gets to play Gabriella Montez.
“This one’s the big one, and it’s the final one, which is so sad because usually we always get to say we’ll see you on the next one, but this time there’s not gonna be a next one,”
she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
But it looks like the show may go on — but when/if it does, the franchise will be using a new cast.
“We’re done, I’m done…we’re all done after the third one. I think they’re gonna continue the High School Musical franchise, though,”
she revealed.
