High School Musical Vanessa Hudgens is house shopping in the Hollywood Hills.

Vanessa Hudgens was spotted in Hollywood Hills shopping for homes in the $2 million price range. Hudgens looked at five homes and then hit the gym with her father.

The 18 year-old actress recently signed a formal contract with Disney this week for High School Musical 3, which will begin shooting in early January. The entertaining film will be released sometime in mid-summer 2008.

Hudgens is still facing a lawsuit pending from her former lawyer, Brian Schall, which argues that the actress still owes him $150,000 plus additional fees for his time. Schall claims that he helped Hudgens earn more than $5 million and still owes for services. The timing of the lawsuit is also in question, which was filed immediately after the nude pics of Hudgens appeared on the Web.

The contract is null and void, says Hudgens, she was only 16 years old when she signed the mutual agreement with Brian Schall and therefore wasn’t a responsible adult. However, there are some laws which Schall will go after which might make her parents pay.

The lawsuit is scheduled for a court hearing on December 5, 2007, at which time a judge will decide whether the lawsuit should go forward or dismissed. Vanessa will bring along her birth certificate to prove she was not a responsible adult at age 16.
