The motion picture soundtrack will be released on October 21. HSM3 is being scheduled for a theatrical release on October 24.

She’s been delighting fans of all ages on her current summer tour.  And over the weekend, Vanessa Hudgens paid a visit to the folks in Lewisburg, West Virginia.

Performing as part of the 2008 West Virginia State Fair, the High School Musical hottie sang plenty of cuts off of her new album Identified, in stores now!

And throughout the costume changes and dance numbers one thing was made clear- Vanessa is well on her way to becoming a serious presence in the pop music industry.

Miss Hudgens will be continually touring through the middle of September.  Her remaining concert dates are as follows:

High School Musical star and official Zac Efron straddler Vanessa Hudgens is spotted outside Smashbox Studios with goods from Intelligentsia Coffee, and boom! She’s suddenly rumored as being the new face for the small coffee chain.

However, marketing reps for the company tell E! News this is not true—she was just snapped after stopping at one of their stores. They politely left out any mention of being way too cool to ever think of using the “Sneakernight” singer in ads.

Besides, if V. were to ever rep a coffee company, it would be the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf hands down.

If it’s not nude photos of you turning up on the Internet, it’s mean old lawyers and producers wanting more money from you.

Vanessa Hudgens is being sued by a music producer for $5 million. In January, she settled (out of court) a lawyer’s claim for $150,000.

This producer contends that the actress and her dad have violated a contract and failed to pay him a share of her earnings.

Hudgens, one of the stars of the “High School Musical” series, entered into an agreement with producer Johnny Vieira in 2005 when she was still a minor, sez the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday.

Vieira says Hudgens and her father, Greg, sued to get out of the agreement but have not abided by settlement terms that say he shares equally in advances, royalties and merchandising from Hudgens’ skyrocketing career, which include two solo albums and a third “High School Musical” movie scheduled for theatrical release later this year.

Hudgens was sued last year by another lawyer who claimed she owed him $150,000.

She settled that lawsuit out of court, a month after a judge ruled that the case could go to trial.
